From the organizer:

“I personally have experienced the incredible professionalism of our men and women in Blue in my neighborhood in August 2020. When a man who had beaten his girlfriend started wielding a gun and pointing it at people, they came in force, de-escalated the situation, made sure our neighborhood was safe, and then risked their lives to go in and apprehend this man. Thank God for these brave officers! My family and I felt totally safe! ‘When the going gets tough … the Blue get going!’”

– Joe Anderson

Sponsors:

Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) Each year, between 140 and 160 officers are killed in the line of duty and their families and co-workers are left to cope with the tragic loss. C.O.P.S. provides resources to help them rebuild their shattered lives.

Portions of the proceeds from the Back the Blue event will be donated to the C.O.P.S. non profit.

CC Sheriff HOPE Logo with Thin Blue Line

The Canyon County Thin Blue Line of Hope is a non-profit corporation that administers the Canyon County Deputies’ Association officer disaster endowment.

We hopefully will never need to use this, but it’s ready if one of the officers is injured or killed in the line of duty.
